Welcome to my little corner of the internet! If you’ve found your way here, you’re probably wondering who I am and why you might want to stick around. Allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Forrest Demman, and I live in a small town in southern British Columbia called Wynndel. I’m a husband to Tashina, father to three wonderful children, pastor, business owner, and now an aspiring writer. Life keeps me busy, but I’m deeply passionate about serving my church, my community, and the broader Christian world.

The purpose of this blog is twofold. First and foremost, it’s a resource for my church. Here, you’ll find sermon outlines, answers to theological questions raised by my congregation, and reflections on Christian living. Second, I hope to share reviews and recommendations for books and other resources that I believe can strengthen and encourage fellow believers in their walk with Christ.

Theologically, I am a Protestant firmly rooted in the Presbyterian tradition. To go a little deeper: I’m a Calvinist, a postmillennialist, and a theonomic reconstructionist. If those terms are new to you, don’t worry—many of them will become clearer as you explore the blog. My goal is not to overwhelm but to share biblical truth and help you see the beauty of God’s plan through the lens of covenant theology.

Speaking of covenants, the name of this blog, The Blog of the Covenant, reflects what I believe is the central theme of Scripture. From the covenant God made with Adam in the garden to the new covenant inaugurated by Christ at the Last Supper, covenants tie the Bible together and reveal the story of God’s redemptive plan.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you find this blog both edifying and encouraging. Whether you’re here to dive deep into theology, explore practical Christian living, or simply join the conversation, I’m glad you’re here.
